You are partially right. I cherry-picked features which I personally find important. But since they are so important for me, I bothered designing/implementing them in the language in a right way.
"Will the police stop and search people on the street looking for unauthorized phones? Prison sentences for buying a non-state computer on the black market? Charges of organized crime for smuggling in containers of open-source software on USB sticks?"
Come on, do people seriously believe this will happen?
The sum-product conjecture asks: for any finite set of real numbers, must at least one of the sumset or the product set have size at least
It was posed by Erdős and Szemerédi in 1983. This paper constructs a clever counterexamples using high degree number fields with bounded root discriminant.
If you find that hard to believe, keep in mind this is just one product in a rather crowded niche marketplace, so there's undoubtedly tens of thousands more similar products that have already been sold.
Yup, people who are into niche hobbies can be almost obsessed with it. Like a guy having 50 zippo lighters, or someone having collection of retro consoles. Same here, people are building more than one keyboard because they love it.
I'm slightly baffled it existed in the first place, considering they also used the small s, and it looks almost exactly like the f. To be fair, I am equally confused that so many modern typefaces don't distinguish I and l.
Absolutely ridiculous. Meta has been a major player in destroying an entire generation's attention spans, self-esteem, and childhood. They will never be held accountable for their actions.
