Fair, not everyone knows Tauri. Rust is more recognizable, I guess.


Hey, developer here. Honestly, the biggest advantage I think is the overall footprint of the app (35MB compared to 500 for obsidian), as well as native AI support and just the sheer simplicity of it.

Obviously, there are so many note-taking apps these days. Most of them tend to just blend into one. Thanks for the feedback, though, no hate taken :)


Good for them. Used it for a month or so a while back and liked it, just didn't renew my sub.

I really like their browser, Orion though. It's still rough, and crashes at times but it feels like a great non-chromium option for MacOS.


They also announced a Linux version in early 2026.


Arc was cool, although it had some quirks that made me not use it as my daily browser. This just feels like a feature
