Don't send emails when you are angry either. Just wait a while before sending.

Best advice I ever had early on in my career.

Actually, just the act of writing out your anger or pain without actually sending it can reduce the anger or pain

Just fill in the address field at the top of the email last, if ever.

I wish social media sites had Gmail's anti-drunk posting safeguard. :)
