Regarding the AC adapter, if you check that Amazon page it says it's by Mini Box and Mini Box itself http://www.mini-box.com/12v-10A-AC-DC-Power-Adapter sells the right adapter.

That one looks a bit more legit than the CD120100A I got. Perhaps I will send it back and buy this one instead!
