Last I did FB video downloading like a year ago I had to write a script that converts and stitches video fragments together.

It was still doable, but quite inconvenient.

Simpler to just record screen with OBS.

I lost a favourite video of mine from youtube, fortunately someone reupled it, so I quickly ripped it with OBS, as the youtube downloaders had trouble downloading the audio part.
