Well I didn’t doubt the site would be running - maybe reducing it to ‚up’ is a bit to simplistic. Their were major hickups and scandals an it is reportedly worth a third of what musk paid for… only having on the staff to run the hardware might mask the problems that are amassing on the business side of things… the guy isn’t even paying rent - not to speak about the government contracts/guidelines imposed on twitter previously all over the world. Twitter emails for press contacts are returning poop smilie’s for godesakes…

wierd question, cause it was never really profitable.

Twitter was profitable, super profitable, in 2018 and 2019. It lost lots of money in 2020 cause pandemic and lots of hiring, would have been profitable in 2021 if not for lawsuit. It would have been profitable in 2022 if not for purchase.

I know, this is why I was asking, this would have been a news, not that Twitter is still up.
