It does look strong. I wonder what Apple is holding out for, or whether there is actually a defense.

Apple, like Microsoft before them, might be holding out for a change in the people who oversee the DoJ.

If so, that seems like just as unwise strategy now as it was for Microsoft. I think it's pretty unlikely.
