Military contract or sharing raw data with CIA, Palantir, Mossad, etc. would explain why they intervened (and why Sam and Greg couldn’t be candid: gag order).

I probably should retract all those, but I want to argue that the board claiming "not candid" was (as of what we know now) entirely off.
