We really need to figure out a way to engage with news in a way that’s viable for journalism to survive. unfortunately the advertisers have created such an adversarial environment that capable people will always block, so advertising can’t support the business model. Paywalls are clearly not the answer. I don’t know what is, but we should really figure it out.
